Where to put a drink in a parked sleeper cab
Keep your break-time drink comfortably reachable on a firm, level surface, clear of bedding, electronics and the way through the cab.

Choose the surface before the holder
A stable sleeper table or appropriate fixed shelf may provide a useful spot. Check the whole 5.2-inch footprint, not just the container’s bottom. Avoid sloped trim, deep recesses and surfaces that rock or flex. A larger base cannot correct a loose table.
Plan around how you actually sit
Sit where you eat or relax, then choose a clear spot beside your hand. Leave room for your forearm and plate. Avoid reaching over a laptop or paperwork to lift a drink, and do not place it where getting up requires stepping around it.
Bedding needs extra care
Loose covers and cushion edges can support a drink unevenly. Do not treat every bunk as a drink surface. Prefer a firm, level tabletop when bedding is folded, sloped or shifts underneath the base. Move the drink before changing the bedding or folding furniture.
Check the configuration in your own truck
Sleeper layouts vary. Peterbilt’s Model 589 sleeper feature sheet describes a pull-out workstation tray and two cup holders for the 72- and 80-inch sleeper configurations. That is a specific equipment example, not a claim that your cab has the same layout or that Steadi fits those holders.
Clear the setup before departure
When the break ends, remove the drink from this freestanding setup and stow the drink and holder appropriately. Follow the vehicle’s operating instructions. This guide concerns parked use and does not establish driving restraint or road-vibration performance.
