Factory cup-holder size and Steadi fit are different measurements

Measure your drink for Steadi. Use your truck’s exact documentation when selecting a factory replacement or vehicle accessory.

The number on Steadi’s fit guide

The 2–3.15-inch range is the outside width across the base of the drink container that sits inside Steadi. It is not the size of a hole in your console. Steadi itself has a 5.2-inch footprint and stands 2.8 inches tall.

Measure the container’s bottom

Measure across the widest part of the actual bottom. Do not use the rim, capacity label or handle width as a substitute. Check full seating, taper and clearance around low handles or added boots after checking diameter.

Identify the installed factory part

For a replacement, record the truck model/year and the actual holder assembly or part reference. Interior options and prior modifications can matter. Use the truck maker’s documentation or parts support to resolve compatibility rather than assuming a universal semi-truck holder diameter.

Keep adapter and stabilizer decisions separate

An adapter is intended to interact with another holder and needs its own fit instructions. Steadi is a freestanding drink stabilizer. Do not force its broad base into a factory opening or interpret the fit range as approval for that combination.

Ask a precise fit question

For Steadi help, send support the exact drinkware model, a base measurement and a photo showing the bottom and handle. For a factory holder, ask the truck’s parts provider about the installed assembly. These are different questions with different evidence.
